A key goal of the Enterprise Partnership Scheme is to offer researchers the opportunity to learn additional valuable skills by working with suitable partners outside of the academic environment.
The board of the Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology has set out eligibility criteria for participation as a co-funding partner in the Enterprise Partnership Scheme.
While the focus of the Scheme is to link talented researchers with private enterprise, it is recognised that certain public bodies may also have relevant expertise and be suitably placed to offer an ‘added value’ to a researcher’s career formation through collaboration and with input to the research.
